What are early entrance scholarships?If you have decided to attend a University next fall you may automatically be awarded with scholarships. In order to qualify for these scholarships, you must apply to the University by March 1st, 2021, and fill out the required application page for the Early Entrance Scholarships. The University of Winnipeg, for example, will give $1100 if you have an average of 85%-89%, $1750 for an average of 90% – 94%, and $2250 for an average of 95%+. Lorette Thrifty Treasures is a volunteer-based thrift store located in the RM of Tache. Our Mission is to provide community services to enable people to improve their quality of life socially, financially and emotionally, respecting all social, cultural, linguistic and spiritual needs. Proceeds made go straight back into the community through a variety of ways.(Tache Food Resource Centre, sports projects, play structure funding, community groups/organizations, etc.) Scholarship Application

Kin Canada $1,000 bursaries are awarded to successful Canadian applicants who are pursuing post-secondary education at a recognized university, community college, technical institute and other schools for advanced education. Click Here for Application

Odd Fellows and Rebekahs of Manitoba Bursary.  Two bursaries in the amount of $1000 each will be awarded.  Deadline for applications is May 1, 2021.  Click here for application

The Nellie McClung Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the annual Nellie McClung Trailblazer Scholarships. These awards are for female students considering careers in the exciting fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), business, fine arts or underrepresented trades. Careers in these areas offer excellent job opportunities, great earning potential and stimulating work environments. Five awards of $1,000.00 will be granted to female students in grade 12 who have demonstrated an aptitude in an area of study that could lead to further education and/or careers in STEM, business, fine arts or underrepresented trades. Manitoba Beef Producers makes available six, $500 scholarships for MBP members, or their children, attending a university, college, other post-secondary institution or pursuing trades training. Preference will be given to those students pursuing a field of study related to agriculture, those acquiring a skilled trade, or pursuing a career that would be beneficial to the rural economy.
