Spring has finally arrived and with that brings renewed energy and drive to finish off the school year strong. April brought the excitement and wonder of our school musical, a Metis Dancing workshop, many badminton games for students from grades 7-12, and a learning trip to the Winnipeg Art Gallery and Legislature, amongst our regular amazing classroom work. It is amazing to watch your children learn from and partake in so many amazing opportunities. We look forward to having more opportunities to get outdoors, spring sports, our final band/choir concert and Art Showcase, and learning trips as we head into May.

A couple of reminders about bike safety. Students are welcome to ride their bike to and from school but are not allowed to ride them during the school day, aside from heading home for lunch. Our parking lots and the street in front of the school are busy traffic zones and we want to keep all kids safe.

Thank you for your continued partnership in your children’s education, we are so grateful for the students and families of Landmark Collegiate!

Vanessa David, Principal

The Wizard of OZ

We are so grateful to the staff and students who contributed to our production of The Wizard of OZ. What a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage in musical theatre and an excellent show for the audiences to enjoy. Thank you to everyone involved for their hard work!

We are hosting a Sports Banquet Dinner on Thursday, May 14 at 5:00 pm  before the Spring Fling which goes from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. It will be a fun evening celebrating our high school teams and athletes from this school year. The night will include dinner, team awards, and prizes. All high school students who participated on a team this year are invited to attend. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased using cash or debit at the office.

We also want to congratulate Rowan and Haedyn for winning the Varsity Boys Doubles Badminton Zone 13 championship and earning themselves a spot at Badminton Provincials. Way to go boys!
