The Music Parent Association exists to support the music program at LC.  The committee organizes fundraisers so that students can off-set the cost of band trips, so that the band trips are accessible to all LC students.  Any money that is raised for the general fund is spent on items the Music Teacher needs for the program (instruments, microphones, etc.).

The current committee consists of Deb Rogalsky, Robin Dick, Marj Toews and Deidre Plett.  We would like to thank Tanis Drobot and Sherry Herron for their service as thier terms come to an end.

FUNDRAISING

We will be offering Deb’s Delectable Meat Buns fundraiser. These are the same meat buns that are offered for hot lunches at the elementary and high school. These provide delicious home cooked lunch options, are great appetizers and are a wonderful addition to your Easter dinner.

Please be advised the money raised for this fundraiser goes to our student’s individual band trip accounts. Funds will be held in their account for future trips. If any of the band members are graduating, any money left in their account will be forwarded to a younger sibling’s account or will be transferred into the general band account fund. We will not be able to credit current band trip payments.

Meatbuns are $8.00 per dozen and students will receive $2.00 per 1 dozen bag of meat buns sold.  Types available are Mom’s Original, Sauerkraut, Farmer Sausage & Cheese, Pizza, Chicken Dinner, Spicy Taco, Cheeseburger, Bacon & Egg, and Spinach & Feta.  Orders forms are available at the office.

The orders and money for the meat buns are due on Wednesday, February 27. The delivery date will be Thursday, March 21st.  It is imperative that orders be picked up as soon as possible as these are frozen items. Please bring your bags or boxes to take your orders home.
