Report Cards will be posted on the parent portal today at 3:30. We will not be providing print report cards this year.
Parent Teacher Meetings – Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020
Our teachers attempt to communicate on a regular basis throughout the year with parents. Parent teacher meetings are another opportunity to discuss your child’s learning at school.
This year we will not be able to hold in person meetings. However, we will have virtual parent-teacher interviews on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 4:00 to 7:30 pm. If parents prefer a phone call meeting instead, then teachers will call you sometime during the week of Nov. 16 – 20, pending their availability. Please call the office to book your video or phone appointment by Wednesday, November 18 at 4:00 pm.
Teachers will send out Zoom (or Google Meet) invitations sometime next week to your email address for the appointed time. Meetings are 10 min in length. We understand that this is a short meeting, but we ask that you be respectful of the time so that teachers can get to all their appointments on time.
Grade 7 and 8 Learning.
To ensure continuity of learning during the restricted level (orange), our school offers temporary remote learning for Gr. 7 and 8 students who can be supported to learn at home. As such, please be aware that there may be a camera in your child’s classroom to live stream lessons periodically throughout the day. To the extent possible, only the teacher will be visible in the live feed. Every effort will be made to protect your child’s privacy. The live stream will not be recorded or archived, and access to the live feed will require a student login through the HSD network (Google Meet).
