In November, we took time to review and celebrate our students’ successes through report cards. It was wonderful to see and meet many of you at our Parent/Teacher Conferences. November also brought several exciting learning experiences: Grade 9 students participated in Take Our Kids to Work Day, our Grade 11 Biology classes engaged in a dissection opportunity provided by WISE, our choirs performed at Choral Fest, and many of our Grade 12s visited Niverville High School for a Post-Secondary Expo.
As the weather cools and the snow begins to fall, we will continue to work hard until the break while also making time for special events such as our Christmas concert, Hot Lunch Wars, and an all-grade activity day before the holidays. Please keep an eye on the school sign for all upcoming events.

Cold Weather Policy and Winter Travel
As we start to see the snow fall and the temperature fall, we need to be prepared for adverse weather conditions. Please review the HSD cold weather policy. We are also asking students to ensure they bring winter jackets, a hat, and mittens when travelling on the bus. In the event of a mechanical issue or an unexpected stop, we want our students to stay warm!
