Our graduation celebrations last week were a wonderful success, and we extend our warmest wishes to the graduating class for all their future pursuits. We are deeply thankful to the local businesses whose generous award donations support our students. Congratulations to each of our students who won an award as well. You can find a list of our donors and winners on our website: https://lc.hsd.ca/. We also appreciate everyone who joined us to mark this special occasion.

As the summer holidays begin, we wish our entire school community a safe and happy break. We look forward to welcoming our returning grade 8-12 students and meeting our incoming grade 7 class in September.

Vanessa David, Principal

Final Report Cards/ Fees

Final report cards are currently available on Parent Portal. Please take a moment to read them over with your child. Parent Portal will be closed for a few days starting on June 30th at 4 pm. Graduates will no longer be able to access their information after that time. Please pay your 2025-2026 school fees before that time or come to the school office to pay in person.

InformNet

Before signing up for any InformNET classes, please ensure you have consulted with Brandon Kipe, our school guidance counsellor. Course reimbursement is only available for options that are unavailable at our school or cannot be accommodated within a student’s existing timetable. Please note that the school will only provide reimbursement for courses that have received prior approval.

School Supplies 2026-27

Starting next school year, we are transitioning away from the school supply fee for Grade 7 and 8 students. All students will be asked to bring their own supplies to class. You can find the full list of required items on our website at https://lc.hsd.ca/parents/supply-lists/

Hot Lunch Orders

Beginning in the next school year, we will no longer provide the option to charge for hot lunches without paying prior to it. Information regarding the new process for pre-purchasing meals will be shared with you before the school year starts.
