Hockey Tournament for Heart Health

Throughout the months of January, February, and March, 15 grade 8 students from Landmark Collegiate studied the body system with a greater goal in mind. They wanted their learning to be impactful beyond the classroom, so the devised a hockey tournament to raise awareness of heart health. RCMP ICE Unit March 21

Constable Gord Olson from the RCMP ICE Unit (Internet Child Exploitation Unit) will be back in Landmark on March 21 to talk to students (afternoon) and parents (6:30 pm) about to how use our devices safely and appropriately. He will talk about the risks of sexting and other behaviors that many are involved with. Rock & Roll Literacy is coming to Landmark Collegiate

Landmark Collegiate is excited to announce that best-selling author, Sigmund Brouwer, will be our guest for the day on Thursday, February 8th.  Sigmund will make a group presentation on story to the grades 5-12 first thing in the morning.  Then he will do smaller group presentations about the writing process in the classrooms for grades 11/12, grades 9/10, grades 7/8 and grades 5/6.  During lunch he will host a writers club for students who are more serious about their writing.… Read More

The SWAV group organized a school wide drive colleting items for the Tache Christmas Hamper.
